School groups have come from both near and far — walking distance and even Essex. Hounslow’s Heathlands School has been visiting for 3 years and had a very early start indeed to arrive in Cheltenham for their first event at 10am!

Jazz Festival creative competition winners

As part of the run-up to this fiesta of sound and colour, we wanted to do something a little different! We wanted to embrace the creativity of students, and build on our already strong links with the University of Gloucestershire.

We teamed up with Animation and Interactive Media tutors and students, and set them loose on a competition brief – to create a short ‘viral’ video, based somehow on the Jazz Festival. The entries came in, and were all of an extremely high quality – it was so hard to narrow them down that we’ve ended up with 3 winners.
